Intro to Financial Accounting Empty Intro to Financial Accounting

When I first took Financial Accounting (ACC1100) there was two mid-terms and a final exam. No group project, no assignments, and optional labs. Since then the course has grown to include some of these things. Is this an improvement in favour of the student's, or was it better off before? What other changes would you like to see in this class?

How do you think deep learning is best accomplished for you? How could this course be delivered so years later most can be recalled or used?

I personally found the two midterm setup very beneficial, because it kept me studying for three different check points throughout the semester. That being said, I found myself asking frequent questions to J. Falk about the end of chapter questions. If students aren't motivated on their own to take that initiative, then they likely would benefit more from a weekly assignment or tutorial.
